Frequently Asked Questions

When will Beau’s Landing open?
We hope to open with limited services in late 2026. We’re currently renovating our recreation center, building an accessible bathroom and small kitchen facility, and adding parking. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for construction updates and opening announcements.

What ages do you serve?
Beau’s Landing is designed for teens and adults with disabilities. As we grow and assess community needs, we may expand programming to serve additional age groups.

Do participants need a specific diagnosis?
No. Beau’s Landing welcomes individuals with a wide range of disabilities and developmental differences.

The level of support we’re able to provide will depend on staffing, funding, and safety considerations. As we grow and build resources, our goal is to expand our capacity to serve individuals with higher support needs while ensuring a safe and positive environment for everyone.

What will programs cost?
We are currently finalizing our pricing structure. We are committed to keeping programs affordable for families. Take our survey to share what works for your household — your input directly helps shape our pricing.

Will you provide meals or snacks?
Light snacks and beverages will be available. As our kitchen facility is completed and we get closer to opening, we’ll share more details about meal options.

What safety measures will be in place?
Safety is our top priority. We are developing clear protocols that include trained staff and volunteers, appropriate supervision ratios, accessibility features, and emergency procedures.

As we launch, some roles may be supported by trained volunteers while we build funding for additional staff. Our commitment is to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment at all times.
Can families stay during programs?
Programs are designed to provide independence for participants and respite for caregivers, so participants attend independently with our trained staff and volunteers. We will also host special family events throughout the year.
Do you offer scholarships or sliding scale fees?
We are committed to making Beau’s Landing accessible to as many families as possible. Financial assistance and sliding scale options will be available based on funding.
We also plan to explore approval for Medicaid respite services in the future; however, this will depend on state requirements and program eligibility. Updates will be shared as they become available.
